Personal data processin notice

This website is operated by SC LIFE IN JOB SRL (hereafter “We”), established in Timișoara, Bd.Eroilor de la Tisa no. 37/A, 1st floor, registered with ONRC Timis under no. J35/1696/2013, VAT number RO 3195881, a Romanian limited liability company.
We collect and process various categories of personal data from you as user of www.lifeinjob.ro, hereafter the “website” and pursuant to the EU Regulation 2016/679 on personal data privacy, we are personal data controller.

Protecting your personal data is very important to us!

This Notice describes the ways in which we collect and use your personal data. This will tell you what data is collected, how, and for what purpose, and you will be informed about the rights you have with your personal data.

Principles of processing personal data
We meet the principles of personal data processing established by EU Regulation 2016/679, namely:

  1. Legality, fairness and transparency - we process your personal data legally, fairly and transparently against you;
  2. Deductive collection - Personal data is collected for specific, legitimate and explicit purposes only and is not subsequently processed in a way incompatible with these purposes; further processing for purposes of archiving in public interest, for scientific or historical research purposes or for statistical purposes is not considered incompatible with the original purposes;
  3. Minimizing data - Personal data collected are appropriate, relevant and limited to the strict minimum required for the purpose for which they are processed;
  4. Data update - we ensure that personal data is accurate and up to date, we take all necessary measures to ensure that personal data which are inaccurate, in view of the purposes for which they are processed, are deleted or rectified without delay;
  5. Restriction of data storage - we respect deadlines imposed by the law for the retention of data, or we keep them only until the purpose of the collection has been achieved, with deadlines set in that regard by internal procedures, and then we delete them;
  6. Integrity and confidentiality - We take appropriate technical and organizational safeguards for the security of personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing, against loss, destruction or accidental damage.


How we collect your personal data and what kind of data we collect
Personal data is collected:

  • directly from you, from the data you enter in the online form on our website;
  • directly from you by uploading a Curriculum Vitae file containing personal data;
  • by cookies when browsing our website.

Our website uses a form to register with our database to access job offers. This form includes headings for entering personal identification and contact information, as well as relevant information about your skills and professional experience. All of this data is processed by us in order to provide you with a better job.

In the online process of providing personal data to us, although we are working hard to protect the information you provide, the exchange of information via an Internet connection is not 100% safe, therefore we may not guarantee the security of personal data transmitted by such means. Once we have received the data, we use strict procedures and security methods to prevent unauthorized access to this information.

We do not collect or process special personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious confession or philosophical beliefs or membership in trade unions and genetic data processing, biometric data for sole identification of a physical person, health data or data on sexual life or sexual orientation of a natural person. Any such personal data that you communicate to us, accidentally or intentionally, will be immediately deleted.

Personal data of minors. Parents' agreement.
This website is intended for use by adults aged over 18.In some cases, however, our services may also be accessed by minors. Their personal data will be stored and processed by us only with the prior, express and written consent of the parent or guardian. In the absence of such consent, any personal data from a minor will be immediately removed from our database. As parents, we encourage you to participate in the exploration of your children online and use the parental control capabilities provided by your computer system, the programs you use and/ or your internet service provider. Limiting the online access of minors is of great help to them.



What if you do not provide us with your data
If you want to enrol in our job search database, you may not do this without providing all the required minimum information. The personal data collection form is configured to require the minimum amount of information we need to identify you so that we can get in touch with you and provide you with the best job offers for you. If you do not enter the required minimum data, we will be unable to achieve the proposed goals and provide you with our service.

Access to personal data and protection measures
The personal data in our database are processed by our own staff, who is regularly trained to comply with the GDPR compliance procedures, prepared according to the requirements of EU Regulation 2016/679. If your profile matches job offers, personal data can be passed on to employers. They can also be accessed by companies providing IT products and services. All these companies are contractually bound to comply with data protection measures.
Personal data will also be transmitted when we have to comply with a legal obligation, at the request of government or executive authorities, to meet certain national or law enforcement requirements or to prevent certain illegal activities.
Except as noted above, we will not disclose, sell or ever lend any of your personal data to any third party without first obtaining your consent. We undertake to protect your personal data against any loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, unauthorized access and destruction. We take all reasonable steps to ensure the confidentiality of personal information, including through the use of appropriate organizational and technical measures, such as physical access control at our premises, staff training, storing physical files in locked cabinets, password access to our computer systems, anti-virus protection, etc.
Also, taking into account Article 29 Working Group Guidelines, we have appointed a DPO (Data Protection Officer) to supervise compliance with the personal data protection measures, to continually assess the risks of processing activities and to update the operating procedures.

Your rights
EU Regulation 2016/679 gives you a number of rights that we respect and requires you to respond with maximum accuracy to your requests.

  1. The right of access: is the right to obtain from the controller a confirmation that personal data relating to you are processed or not, and, if so, access to those data, including information on the categories of data held, the purpose of their use, source of collection, etc. Upon your request, we will give you a free copy of your personal data. Requesting multiple copies of your personal data may result in a reasonable charge, based on administrative costs.
  2. The right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the legality of the processing under consent prior to its withdrawal.
  3. The right to rectify personal data about you that is inaccurate. Taking into account the purposes for which data was processed, you have the right to obtain the completion of incomplete personal data, including by providing an additional statement.
  4. The right to restrict the processing of your personal data if:
    • challenge the accuracy of your personal data, for the period we need to verify the correctness;
    • processing is illegal, if you require restriction of processing instead of deletion;
    • we no longer need your personal data, but you request them to establish, exercise or defend a right in court;
    • you have objections to processing while we are checking that our good reasons prevail.
  5. The right to deletion, or the “right to be forgotten”, on the basis of which you may request the deletion of your personal data that is processed. We have to comply with this request, without undue delay, except where data are required:
    • for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information;
    • to comply with a legal obligation we have;
    • for purposes of archiving in public, scientific, historical or statistical purposes;
    • for establishing, exercising or defending a right in court.
  6. The right to data portability ensures that you have the right to receive personal data concerning you and send it to another personal data controller. If technically feasible, you may require that we transmit your personal data (which you have provided to us) to another organization. You have this right if, cumulatively::
    • We process your personal data with automated means,
    • We base our processing of your personal data on your consent or for the conclusion or performance of a contract to which you are a party;
    • Your personal data is provided by you and the transmission of your personal data does not have a negative effect on the rights and freedoms of others.
  7. The right to object under which you may oppose at any time the processing of your personal data, provided that the processing is not based on consent but on the legitimate interests of the controller or a third party. In this case, we will no longer process your personal data unless legitimate and compelling reasons justifying processing can be proven and prevail over your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the purpose of the processing is to establish, exercise or defend a right in court .You can always oppose to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing, for whatever reason.



Ways of communication
We will communicate to each recipient to whom personal data has been disclosed any rectification or deletion of personal data, or restriction of processing, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate efforts. All your applications will be completed within 30 days.
